This song was partially written using W. S. Burroughs cut-up method. All words originated from James Micheners's "Hawaii".

Regarding the "Chinese" line, in hindsight the notion may express a reluctance toward authoritarian control propagated by the Chinese government, as well as our own. In another light, it may express motivational inspiration I have derived from Chinese and other asian classical music.

This line is in no way intended to reflect negatively upon ethnic Chinese people.
